Location. The Mediterranean style Ritz Carlton Golf Resort, Naples (Fla.) ranks as the No. one resort in Florida in Conde Nast Traveler magazine's June 2006 issue. More than 40 upscale boutiques line Waterside Shops, a specialty shopping area approximately five miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. Contemporary Tuscan cuisine is enjoyed at the airy Lemonia, overlooking the Tiburon Golf Course. The lobby lounge, the Bella Vista, overlooks the 18th hole at the golf course and is an ideal place to enjoy afternoon tea or nightly musical entertainment. A poolside grill and coffee shop round out the dining alternatives. An elegant ballroom, an outdoor function space and more than 14,800 square feet of meeting facilities make the resort a unique and beautiful setting for a wedding reception, conference or family gathering. Amenities include an on site business center and wireless Internet access. The Florida sun warms the sundeck and the outdoor pool. Four lighted tennis courts keep tennis games fresh. The PGA Tour Merrill Lynch Shootout is held at the resort annually, showcasing some of the best golfers in the world. The Ritz Kids Day Camp is available on a full or half day basis, offering crafts, games and swimming. Friday and Saturday nights feature Kids Night Out at the resort, and include arts and crafts, a special dinner and a movie.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms offer in room safes that accommodate laptop computers. Each room is equipped with wireless Internet access. Standard amenities include marble bathrooms, down comforters, bathrobes, Frette linens and European toiletries. Rooms overlook the golf course or the resort.
